HOUSES OF SAND
Houses of sand,
We built in the childhood,
On the river beach,
Tucked them away in
The vault of our dreams
Only to let them pass
From our memory
Houses of sand,
We built again,
After so many years,
On the next stopover
On the river beach
Children looked at curiously
To see us building them,
They built their own
Houses of sand,
On their own river beach,
For their own dream vault
The river went on flowing
But we turned back,
Towards the beach of
Our childhood,
Back and farther back,
We searched for the
Dream houses in the river sand
We found
Father’s childhood dreams
In our dream vault
